POLICIES

All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in
accordance with applicable existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms,
magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check
your local and state regulations before ordering.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and
applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of
purchase for repair. Accessories and special-order items not normally sold by our store will not be
covered under warranty. Contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and
special-order items.

AMMUNITION PURCHASES

​

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms.

Check your local laws for any other regulations. *All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas.*

USED FIREARMS

​

All used firearms are sold “as is.” The Seller/Consigner/Previous Owner provides all descriptions of used items. All descriptions for used items are sincere and based on actual items being offered for sale. Customers are responsible for determining the actual condition of all used firearms. All sales on used items are final. Photos will be provided when available.

 

FIREARMS MAY NOT BE CALIFORNIA COMPLIANT

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to know that a firearm is legal for purchase in California before completing the checkout process. There will be a 15% fee for any off roster or non-CA compliant firearm purchased that must be cancelled. PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE

Check your local and state laws for restrictions. You must complete the following steps listed below before we can process your order.

​

1. Verify that the product you wish to purchase meets your state, county, and/or city firearm laws. Liberty & Justice Firearms is not responsible and cannot refund you if a purchasing error is made.

2. Once you have completed your firearm purchase online. You will receive an order confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive an email order status update within two business days after placing your order please email us sales@LandJFirearms.com

3. Find a local FFL that will accept the transfer of the firearm for you. This can be your local Gun Shop, Pawn Shop, Gun Range or any other location that holds a current FFL and will help you with your transaction.

• You can use the website http://palmettostatearmory.com/ffl-locator to help locate an FFL near you.

• Please make sure you write your name and order number on any correspondence you send us.

• If you choose a FFL not on the above-mentioned link, have them e-mail a copy of their FFL to us at sales@LandJFirearms.com

4. Contact your FFL and tell them you would like to transfer a firearm from Liberty & Justice Firearms. This transaction is solely between you and the FFL holder. Liberty & Justice Firearms is in no way responsible for the firearm once it leaves our store.

5. Once your FFL holder receives your firearm; you will need to pick it up. Liberty & Justice Firearms cannot inform you when it arrives.

Upon arrival at your FFL, inspect your firearm to make certain that everything is acceptable before filling out the necessary paperwork. Once the transfer of the firearm is complete, the manufacturer's warranty is then in effect and from that point on any complications with the firearm will need to be handled by the manufacturer.

 

AMMUNITION PICKUP

​

$40 dollar flat fee ammo transfers, plus sales tax and 11% Excise Tax if applicable.

​

Ammo DROS is either $1.00 or $19.00 depending on whether or not you have a gun registered to you in the CA system.

 

UNCLAIMED FIREARMS/AMMUNITION

​

10 days after a firearm / ammo arrives we will charge a fee of $40 per month for storage. After 6 months the firearm is forfeited and will be sold to cover cost. This does not apply to people with NFA transfers, deployed military or individuals who made arrangements beforehand etc.

ONLINE PRICE AND DESCRIPTION ERRORS

​

Our online inventory may change every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. If we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.

If an item's description contains an error such as incorrect photo, price, accessory or description and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that Liberty & Justice Firearms will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.

 

ORDER FULFILLMENT

All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx

 

SHIPPING RECOMMENDATIONS

​

Use a carrier with tracking and insurance for returns. If you don't, you'll be responsible for any loss or damage during shipping. You must either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit.

 

RETURNS

​

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Merchandise Return Authorization (MRA) request within 10 business days of the delivery of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 25% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the MRA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 25% restocking fee (totaling 40%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.

 

Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:

   1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.

   2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.

   3. Firearms, once transferred to buyer.

   4. Illumination devices, electronic sights and optics.

For all intrafamilial transfers we need a letter stating the following:

I, NAME OF FAMILY MEMBER, am gifting the following pistol MAKE and MODEL with serial number SERIAL NUMBER to my RELATIONSHIP as a gift.

This letter needs to be dated, and we need a copy of the family members driver’s license that is shipping/gifting along with their contact info and the name and contact info of their family member. Transfers can only happen up and down the family tree, father/mother/grandparent and NOT brother/sister/cousin. TRANSFERS FROM INDIVIDUALS

We accept transfers from non licensees (individuals). However we do not release our FFL to anyone that is not a licensee. You may verify our FFL by using the ATF FFL EZ CHECK WEBSITE. They must include a copy of their driver’s license, an invoice and the purchasers contact information.

 

BRINGING A LONG BUN/RECEIVER INTO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

All Rifles/Shotguns/Long Guns must be CA compliant BEFORE entering the state. We cannot accept them and make them compliant.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.

The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Your credit card details are sent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.

We ship UPS or FedEx with tracking. If you wish for us to ship USPS please know that we cannot guarantee the shipment and that we waive all responsibility once the package leaves our facility. We encourage you to let us ship all packages through UPS.

Restocking fee of 35% not counting any fees paid for change of order, return of order, denial of DROS or order of non-rostered gun for CA residents. If you place an order for a firearm that firearm is ordered for you. If you cancel, for any reason, you will be charged a restocking fee since the firearm was ordered for you.

​

If a deposit is left and the order is cancelled, you will forfeit the deposit.

​

If an order is placed and you select cash/ the gun will not be held until funds are received. 1 in 30 DROS denials must pay another DROS fee plus a $40 service fee.

​

Guns ordered and transferred that are not CA compliant will still be responsible for the $60 transfer fee plus return postage.
